In the beginning, I was uncertain about my journey, unsure of my path. However, upon finding The HUB Jorhat’s Ne-Vent Incubation program, I gained courage and self-confidence. It became a valuable support in propelling me forward, despite challenges and uncertainties.
Over the past six years, I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, empowered by The Hub Jorhat’s NEVent program and Bosco Institute’s support, to establish a food production unit, uplift women, and drive social change in rural areas. Grateful and committed to the mission ahead.
During my six-month NE-Vent incubation at Bosco Institute Jorhat, I had a transformative experience as a startup entrepreneur. The Hub Jorhat’s mentors and grant were invaluable, expanding my thinking, fostering business sustainability, and enabling team growth. Networking with fellow startups was also facilitated, while the NE-Vent grant helped acquire vital manufacturing tools.
Initially, I lacked clarity on efficient organization management. However, the Ne-Vent incubation program enlightened me about revenue generation possibilities for sustainability and smooth operations. I must highlight that crafting a business model during the program was truly remarkable.
Attending NE-Vent 2 made me realize our handcrafted bamboo plates aren’t meeting market demands. It taught me how to succeed as an entrepreneur through effective branding and online marketing. With The HUB Jorhat’s support, we aim to employ more artisans and expand our market presence.
